1、 Overview:
Jet rotary dryer is an imported drying technology designed and manufactured for materials with high moisture content and fragility (such as granulated materials). It is widely used for rubber powder, wood powder, feed particles, silicone, fish food, carbon powder particles, etc. It places a central tube in a regular rotary dryer, and hundreds of branch tubes branching out from the central tube spray into the material layer inside the rotary cylinder. The air jet coming out of the branch tube causes the particles to move strongly, ensuring complete contact between gas and particles and providing good heat and mass transfer conditions. Therefore, compared with traditional rotary dryers, the drying speed is almost doubled, and particle wear is greatly reduced, especially for fragile particles.
Due to the use of air jet method in the jet rotary dryer, there is no need to install an internal scraper as a material elevator, and there is no need to sprinkle particles. Therefore, the rotational speed of the rotary drum can be reduced by half. And due to the uniform distribution of branch pipes along the direction of the cylinder, this design not only ensures effective contact between hot air and materials, enhances heat and mass transfer processes, but also distributes gas more evenly along the length of the dryer. Its volumetric heat transfer coefficient is about twice that of a conventional rotary drum dryer. After production and use, under the same output conditions, the length of a jet rotary drum dryer is only half that of a conventional single drum rotary drum dryer.
